Create family relationships to residents. A relationship can be immediate family such as parents or siblings or cousins and aunts and uncles. Using relationships makes it easier when selecting multiple family members throughout lists in Empower Group Care.

Create a new resident relationship #

To create a relationship both residents must exist in Empower Group Care. The following instructions assumes that all residents to be connected via relationships already exist in Empower Group Care.

1. In the sitemap, select Residents.
2. To view a resident, select Action and then View from the list.
3. In the relationships section, select Add.
4. Select a resident under Select Relative and then select relationship type.
5. Select submit.

Editing and deleting existing relationships #

To edit an existing relationship, select the edit icon, and select update to save your changes. To delete an existing relationship, select the delete icon.
